    Build 1.10.51

    Build 1.10.51 Release Notes
    Changes:
    • Added new Versus Queue monitor!
    • Battle: Improve clicking for 1-tile Varl moves: It is now easier to click on the tiles adjacent to a Varl
    • Battle: Fix end-of-battle hangs
    • Battle: Global chat now works in battle (use /global to send)
    • Tourney: Fix Tourney not starting on schedule
    • Proving Grounds: Fixed drag and drop issue when assembling party
    • Market: All Raiders variation pack now on sale
    • Server: Optimizations


    Log file location:

    • Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/TheBannerSaga/Local Store/logs/
      • Open Finder
      • Hit Command-Shift-G to open the “Go to the folder:” popup dialog
      • Paste the path into the textbox and hit Enter
    • Windows: %HOMEPATH%\AppData\Roaming\TheBannerSaga\Local Store\logs\
      • Open Windows Explorer
      • Paste the path into the location bar textbox and hit Enter


    KNOWN WINDOWS ISSUES
    • Steam Overlay unavailable
    • Terrible performance in fullscreen
      • These are both fixed with the following steps:
        1. Right-click the following
        2. Choose "Settings..."
        3. Ensure that "Enable hardware acceleration" is clicked
          NOTE: This does not work with the Chrome browser



    KNOWN MAC OS X ISSUES

    • The Steam Overlay functions intermittently on Mac OS X
      • If you load the game without the Overlay, simply restart the game and it usually appears
    • Crash on startup on Mac OS X
      • Remove the folder "/Library/Frameworks/Adobe AIR.framework". If you need to reinstall Adobe AIR, visit this link: http://get.adobe.com/air/

    Yeah, the feature seems great. Hope that tournament and engame hangup bugs are fixed at last too

    At least one case of hangups has been fixed. There may be others, if so we will continue to investigate.

    Hoooray! Found first bug. Trashers after beeing killed are still standing. All the trasher in last game i played havnt felt.

    I'm seeing it with all units, but not 100%. Looking into it now.

    well i did just two fights and it happened only with trashers, both mine and my enemy (deus you bastard). Nazgul reports it happened to his raidmasters.

    John, have you been looking at the QA? I left a bunch of messages in the chat, THR, WM, and Raider are still freezing on screen after their deaths. Only had one issue w/the SA not being able to lay coals. Raven had suggested I go and test the newer ones. So, just curious. The Matching System now is awesome. Kudos.

    i've experienced varls and raiders, but no archers remaining standing upon a kill. it really was quite funny

    No, the SA - sometimes you won't be able to lay coals, you can click all you want.

    I've had TH, BB and WL standing. BM/SA/SS and SM dropped dead fine.

    And yes, the new matchmaker notifications are extremely helpful! Thanks a lot for that

    The Standing Dead should be fixed in the 1.10.51 hotfix which just went live.

    Love the queue messages John

    What is a little annoying though is that if I am queueing at a different power level I have to go out of the game and remake a team. By time I have done this a game could've been found for the other person. Maybe in a future patch we can have team storages at different power levels. Say you can pay renown for an extra "team slot", this then allows for us to just click a button on what power we want. Saves a lot of time.

    I am not really sure about the global chat It can be annoying, if there's people harassing it... Doesn't matter if its for their own "good" reasons, or just for the "fun" of spamming. Especially when vividly chatting with battle-opponent, global messages flood the chat horribly... Perhaps some tick-box to be able to disable it when in-battle, or a different place for it to appear?

    Yes! This feature would be great to have, and it will perfectly compliment this new jump-straight-in-match feature.

    Concerning a global chat ingame - would really prefer it at least optional, was comfortable with no global chat at all

    Its quite annoying having to read other peoples conversations while playing a game. A tick box would be much appreciated.

    Also "<friend> logged in" message is being shown twice always. Like that:


    That was since it has been introduced ingame.

    Since it's now shown ingame also, it's twice as irritating now as it heavily clutters ingame chat (especially when a lot of friends is playing).

    All that adds to option not to show global chat ingame
    If you don't know where to put it - put it in the pillage
