Bug: Game not loading properly

Hey, this has happened to me 2 or 3 times on 2 different pc setups (both windows 7 x64, both radeons),

game loads into this:

Then after clicking "ready" it goes into windowed mode and eventually crashes:

Luckily and oddly enough, there was no ELO loss.

We be inserting some diagnostics in the next build to see if we can resolve this issue.
