Hi all,

have you found some cultural references during your travels in Chapter 1?

I think I found one :). Description on Eyeless Rift reminds me Xachariah from Planescape: Torment.

I didn't find any to be honest, (aside from Eyvind (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eyvind_Earle)).

Think when getting out of that city in the lake your options sound very similar to those in Oregon trail when crossing a river (Pay someone, ford the river, caulk the caravan)

Juno serves a Gandalf/Dumbledore-like role:

Magic is her profession
Solemn, down-to-business, mentor/teacher-figure
Dies and comes back to life
Saves the day with awesomely strange stratagems.

Well if Juno serves a Gandalf role then there should be eagles involved in any impossible-to-beat situation :p
