    Advanced class and abilities

Does chosing advanced class loses the abilities that I had before promotion.

For example; I have a raider. I to choose to upgrade to thrasher. Do I lose my shield wall ability I had before?

    Hello Dadinjo,

No you don't lose it! Promoted units keep their "passive" abilities (e.g. the shield-wall) and gain an "active" ability, depending on the promoted unit-type they choose (e.g. stone-wall for Raidmaster unit).

Also -- Don't forget that you can redistribute points between stats for all promoted units, in the Proving Grounds, anytime at no cost!

I forgot to check over the weekend, what with the low site traffic and all. Sorry about that

    Dadinjo,

You can also drop by at the chat-room (raven, does chatting need mod-approval too?) and ask away there. Usually, there are people around who can directly answer such questions, thus being much faster than a forum post.

As fun as the chatroom is; it's not a good place for frequently asked questions because they'll continue to be frequently asked. A forum post is searchable and open for comment by others in the community.

Not to mention the forum has an excellent tool for seeing new posts, but the chatbox's archive interface is a bit awkward and the active box keeps pushing forward when you try to read the backlog. Forum activity has more than halved since the moderation went into place and I'd rather not see it drop into the chatbox even faster.
