Banner Saga 2 New Fantasy Casting

Since I'm almost finished TBS2, I though tit's about time to start up the fan casting again! Again, everything is the same, people can suggest actors for me as that makes my life easier but don't go ahead and make your own right here in the thread!

I also recast two character because I didn't like my originals anymore.
Eyvind: I have now made Jim Sturgess. Who honestly looks more like Eyvind. I was stuck on the idea that the actor had to younger than Juno's but he's 2 years older than Eva Green so it doesn't make much difference really.
Yrsa: now is Rebecca Ferguson. I like her better because she has more of the characteristics people think of when they think of Yrsa (like the intimidation factor :P). I think she was overall a better choice then the original who was just "cute".

I'll update hopefully frequently with new characters. Right now I'm stuck on Tryggvi. I'm between Aiden Gillan and Vincent Cassel for him. ANybody have othe rideas. I want to keep Game of Thrones actors to a minimum.

One suggestion: Someone from the Steam forums proposed Sam Worthington for Scathach, stating his role as Jack Sully in the Avatar.

Haha, Did you see any of his work? Guys a good actor and the roles he plays are so similar to Ekkill I'm actually convinced the character was based on him!

Thanks for the list, will be useful for keeping track of the most important characters.

Sam Worthing isn't a Navvi (or however the hell they're spelled) in real life so he doesn't even look like Scathach. I did think of Avatar when I first saw him though

Which one do you think would be better for Tryggvi, Aleo?

Not sure about Tryggvi... Maybe Gary Oldman? He has enough of the character's crazy-ness and I can imagine him with a big mustache.

yeah, I heard about that on the wiki, I've seen a bit of this guy on the couple of episodes of Silicon Valley and he fits the personality pretty well!

Most importantly, I have casted the first few characters! I'll admit I had a few actors in mind for certain roles before I even played the game, that I really wanted to cast in this so I might take a few liberties appearance wise! But, As I said I'm a little more open to changing roles now! So, Aleo (and anybody else that comes through, you can still pass me some ideas!)

I'll vote for Cassel. He has more of a crazy look and you said to keep GOT actors at a minimum!

Nice choices, so far. Can't say I object with anything, and I liked your choice for Canary & Oli!

Sorry for the really late reply stoicmom. Things got a little hectic on my end so I haven't had much time to really look for additions! But to answer your'e question, I haven't really thought about it but I don't think I'd want someone too big. Because then I'd feel that an adaptation would be more action-filled (which the game is of course but I enjoy the narrative and dialog more I'll admit) instead of balancing it with the over-arching narrative.
