    Clarifying Video Policy

    Hello all,

I am trying to clarify what Stoic's video policies are regarding publishing contents from the video game "Banner Saga" through video broadcasting services for non-commercial purposes outside of "Let's Plays".

In Stoic's current Video Policy, it states: "We’re not fine with taking assets from our games (e.g. voice, music, items) and distributing those separately."

I am interested in creating a non-commercial series on Youtube about tabletop role-playing games, and wanted to use "The Banner Saga's" soundtrack as background music.

Would I be able to use "The Banner Saga's" soundtrack in this non-commercial content? Or would this be in breach of Stoic's video policy?

    Hello there,

As described in this other thread you posted in, you'll have to get in touch with the composer, Austin Wintory, about using the soundtrack; email him at austin(at)austinwintory(dot)com.
Together we stand, divided we fall.

Oh, I'd forgotten that I had already posted this question!

    Thanks all!
