"...And upon that banner you write down your deeds so that you cannot forget."
Figured I'll list another ten randoms as they pop up.
Woodkid - Iron (Though primarily a music video director, this guy does some cool original stuff)
Miles Fisher - This Must Be The Place (Miles Fisher is awesome, skilled, and hilarious. This video is brilliant. Also somewhat nsfw.)
Moldova - Run Away (Also known the origin of Epic Sax Guy.)
Jon & Al Kaplan - Conan the Barbarian the Musical (Every real man needs some lamentation of the women in his life, after all.)
iBenji - Boneless (Chill jazz influenced song.)
Cowboy Bebop OST - Diggin My Potato (Simple harmonica and drum. This song resonates in my soul.)
The Lonely Island - Boombox (Comedic gold.)
Ashbury Heights - Anti Ordinary (Good industrial band a friend turned me on to somewhat recently.)
Muse - Knights of Cydonia (Great parody video for a great song.)
Reimu Racer - Reading Heart Line (This is a godlike electronic album. Song three is the one in question.)
Bear McCreary – Battlestar Sonatica The most sad-beautiful song i have ever heard so far. Listened to it countless times and it still puts me into this withdrawn state of both sadness and serenity, pure magic.![]()
Grooveshark's random radio popped out a song I quite enjoyed.
New Found Land - In To Heaven
OST marathon halfway point reached, 119 hours done.
Marathon completed with 200 hours. Now that was a good week.
Just to ratchet up the viking stereotype music, I've found myself pretty heavily into (primarily Finnish/Swedish) folk metal. The music is incredible, but it annoys me to no end when one of my friends takes a listen and can't get behind it because of the harsh vocals. Here's a sampling of stuff I've listened to in the last 24 hours-
Korpiklaani - Korpiklaani
Finntroll - Jaktens Tid
Finntroll - Maktens Spira
Equilibrium - Der Ewige Sieg
Moonsorrow - Tyven/Sankarihauta
If you pick one out of the lot, go with Moonsorrow. There's few bands I've heard with songs on the same epic scope.
i love making mixtapes with songs, sounds, speeches or film scenes or whatever i find fitting, tweaking it a bit..
here's the last one i did (you could say its mostly shoegaze/indie) : https://i.mixcloud.com/CB1u91.

Everything about that song (all three lyrics of it) makes me think it would :P
I listen to Ensiferum a fair bit too, they put on a pretty awesome live show. In my playlist I'd probably rank them with Amon Amarth and Sabaton.
And since we're all here because of what is sure to be an awesome video game, I thought I'd bring a new offering. Who remembers this one?
If that's a veiled criticism about me, I won't hear it and I won't respond to it.
Now THAT... Brings back memories...Damn. One of the first games where I actually felt something for the character! Not to mention being a bad ass wraith that feeds on souls...
Now I need to play it again.
"If this was Monopoly, you'd hate me..."
I always thought the Legacy of Kain series got far less recognition than it deserved. It's a game genre I was never big into, but I played all of them because of the soundtrack and how phenomenal the voice actors were as much as look or gameplay.

Alanis Morrisette's "Ironic" got stuck in my head the last several days so now I've given in to the dark side and am listening to it.

Strong earworm potential... you've been warned.
