HR Recruiting Manager
Our team at Stoic, 4-time BAFTA nominated indie video game company, is seeking a Human Resources Recruiting Manager to join us in bustling downtown Seattle.
You will foster the culture and professional health of our growing, cross-disciplinary team of 17, joining diverse creatives including Artists, Programmers, Designers, Producers, and others.
Daily, you will communicate with the team and support its wellbeing. You will be the expert resource concerning benefits and policy questions. You will remotely manage our Austin, TX office and occasionally travel there. You will develop strategies and implementation for the cultural and professional growth of the team. Your goal will be to increase professional satisfaction, team cohesion, understanding, inclusion, and team productivity.

Stoic is embarking on its most ambitious project, and will be hiring dozens of new employees over the next 2 years. You will be responsible for recruiting, screening, and facilitating the interviews of diverse candidates. You will work with the rest of the team to develop ideal job descriptions and postings, and manage the financial and temporal budget for doing so.

Role and Responsibilities
You will work with the team to understand our company and its culture, from its history to the present to its aspirations. Your insight, empathy, and skills will be used to improve us in ways we cannot anticipate.
You will take ownership of the hiring plan, its budget, and its execution. You will use the team as a resource to craft and adapt the plan as needed. You will manage job postings, screen applicants, and schedule interviews; both remote and in-person. You will participate in applicant evaluation and selection.
You will administer our benefits through TriNet, our Professional Employer Organization. You will help employees understand the company benefits and policies. Proactively, you will plan and execute changes to these company benefits and policies.
You will create plans for training and development of staff, own the budgets for these activities, and create documentation to bolster long term learning.
